I am calling on local people to join my campaign to redevelop the Hartes building.
Generations of people in our area can remember shopping in the old Hartes building on Bond Street. But unfortunately, the site has now fallen into disrepair. And now local people are worried that without help, it could collapse. Which is why, alongside local people, I am calling on the council to work with the owners to find a solution to regenerate the site. Bringing the site back into use would create jobs for local people, as well as breathing new life into an area which people are saying has been ignored by Blackpool’s Labour council.
Here in Blackpool, we’ve seen £39.5 million from the government to regenerate the town centre. Creating jobs for local people and attracting more visitors. But to keep our progress going, people need to back me as the Conservative candidate here in Blackpool South so that we have an MP who will work with the government to bring more funding to our area.
