A very productive morning took place in Squires Gate Ward Saturday morning 13th October, talking to residents about a range of local issues around the Walpole Avenue area. Thanks to Jack Robinson and Scott Benton (our new Blackpool South Parliamentary Candidate) for coming out in the rain.
Blackpool Conservatives have questioned the homeless figures for Blackpool when their Leader Cllr. Tony Williams was informed by the Chief Executive that there were only approximately 15 real homeless people in Blackpool.
Jack Robinson is a Young Conservative (YC) in Blackpool South. Young Conservatives has been formed to put young people at the heart of campaigning and are full members of the Conservative Party. They share the same policies and values of the Conservative Party.
Since the turn of the 21st century, Blackpool has had a Labour-controlled Council for 11 of the past 15 years. When considering whether I should stand, I asked myself the question, ‘Has Blackpool improved in that time?’ The answer is clearly no.
